CHILLÁN SKI CENTER
Located 1,650 m above sea level, this center has 28 ski slopes with 35 km of prepared runs and 10,000 ha of skiable terrain. It has nine types of lifts (one triple seat, three double seats, and five tow-lines). In addition, it has the longest ski slope in South America – the 13 km long Las Tres Marias.
Thirty percent of the ski runs are apt for beginners, 40% for intermediate skiers, and 30% for experts. Besides a 1,100 m drop, the center also has a snow park and the greatest number of activities, including Nordic skiing, randonee, heliskiing, snowmobiling, and sleigh riding.
