NORTHERN PATAGONIA
This tourist region in the south of Chile is characterized by its unique geography – the Andes Mountains that sink into the ocean, creating fjords and channels with numerous glaciers and snowdrifts surrounded by an exuberant conifer vegetation. These features make the land very inaccessible, though infrastructure works in place since the1960’s have made it possible for tourists to enjoy these remote areas.
