PANORAMIC CITY TOUR OF SANTIAGO |

After picking you up from your hotel, we will visit the most interesting tourist destinations of the city, such as the main avenue Alameda Bernardo O’Higgins.
Following a ride down the Alameda, we will visit the historical center of the city, beginning with the Moneda presidential palace.
Following that, we will take you to the busy pedestrian and commercial streets of Huerfanos and Ahumada. These streets lead to the Plaza de Armas, from which the first outlines of the city began.
The cathedral, main post office, and city hall are all located at this square.
Then we will pass by Forestal Park, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Mapocho River to arrive at the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood. Bellavista is home to many cultural and artistic activities, as well as a busy nightlife.
Nearby is the entrance to Metropolitano Park and its San Cristobal Hill, a lookout point with the best panoramic views of the city.
After this visit, we will head to the neighborhoods of Providencia, Las Condes, and Vitacura - protagonists of Santiago’s growth and modernity.

After picking you up from your hotel, we will head to Barrio Brasil, a neighborhood characterized by classic 19th century architecture and a growing nightlife. We will also visit the Paris-like Lastarria and Concha y Toro neighborhoods. After that, we will stop by the Bellavista neigborhood, one of the largest bohemian areas of the city and home to many restaurants, bars, and discotheques. Finally, we will visit the modern Suecia neighhborhood in Providencia, which - along with Bellavista - is nationally and internationally known. If you choose, we can also continue to the Borde Rio restaurant sector, a high-class area in Vitacura where you may enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many prestigious restaurants. CULTURAL SANTIAGO – MUSEUM TOUR |

After picking you up at your hotel, we will visit the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. This museum has 3,000 pieces of collectible indigenous works of art from the Americas, such as impressive textile and ceramic collections. After that, we will take you to the San Francisco Convent and Museum – the oldest church in Santiago. Both the convent and museum have works of great historical and aesthetic worth. The museum is known for its colonial art collection with 54 large paintings (180 x 290 cm) made especially for the hallways of the cloister and representing the life and miracles of San Francisco. In addition, there is a beautiful locksmith collection from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. Following this visit, we will continue to Cousino Palace, built in 1870-1878 by Frenchman Paul Lathaud for an affluent Chilean family. The buildings main materials, bars, tiles, furnishings, and even craftsmen were brought over from France. The quality construction and adornment have maintained this building intact for more than a century.

From your hotel, we will head to Cousino Macul Winery, which has the country’s oldest vineyard planting beds. Here you will visit the museum with its antique wine making machines, in addition to visiting the vineyards and being showed how wine is produced. We will also see one of the oldest and most important cellars in Chile. This six feet underground wine cellar was constructed in 1872 by French architects and stores the family’s private wine collection - with bottles dating back to as far as 1927. At the end of the tour, we will stop by the gift shop where you can taste delicious wines and buy wine or other souvenirs.

From your hotel we will head to the south of Santiago and the Rio Maipo Valley, where Chile’s largest and most important winery was founded in 1883. The valley is the ideal location to harvest the grape for the country’s most traditional red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon. Besides visiting Concha y Toro’s wine cellar, we will also see the founder’s home and beautiful park. The tour also includes wine tasting and a visit to Don Melchor’ private wine cellar where the legendary Casillero del Diablo wine is stored. At the gift shop you can buy their famous wines and other vineyard souvenirs.

From your hotel we will travel along Route 68, with a beautiful view of the rural Chilean countryside, to Undurraga Winery. This winery was founded in 1885 by Francisco Undurraga Vicuna, an avid connoisseur from Europe who brought the Riesling vine from Germany and Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet franc, Merlot, and Pinot Noir vines from France. The first vineyard plantings began in 1885 under the supervision of the French technician Pressac and are now the only pre-phylloxera vines in the world. Our visit includes a tour of the wine making process, from harvesting to bottling and labelling, in addition to a stroll through the beautiful park designed by the French landscaper Pierre Dubois.

From you hotel we will head to the south of Santiago along the Pan-American Highway. After travelling through the agricultural town of Buin, we will travel several more kilometers toward the mountains to Alto Jahuel. After passing by extensive vineyards, we will reach Santa Rita’s hacienda houses and wine cellars - the oldest of which dates back to the 18th century. There are also modern wine production installations. We will visit the parks, vineyards, bottling plant, and wine cellars. We will enjoy a tasting of their excellent wine and have the possibility of tasting their refined gastronomy at the winery’s restaurant.

After picking you up at the hotel we continue towards downtown Santiago, where the Santa Carolina vineyard is located. It is one of the major winemakers of this country, very well known in Chile due to its tradition.
We will be able to enter and see its wine-cellars that date back to the 19th Century and that were declared a national monument.
We visit its park and colonial home. Wine taste their delicious and rewarded wines, where we later have the opportunity to acquire at their wine shop.

We venture out towards Paine, located at about 35 Km South of Santiago. The highlight of this Wine Tour is its interactive way of presenting you the wine process. All participants is instructed of the production of red, white, rosé and sweet wines, apart from everything related with the barricks, cork, bottles and vinegar with different aromas.
The visit is guided by the enologist Roberto Muñoz, which in a very personalized and fun way invites you to become part of the wine making process.
The vineyard also has a museum with a collection of old machinery and utensils that were used in the production of wine. During the visit, we will wine taste three different vines produced in the winery, making of this visit an excellent opportunity to learn and deepen your knowledge of the magical world of wine.
